Welcome, Member.
Nature's Place operates as a Private Membership Association. This isn't a typical privacy policy filled with legal jargon designed to protect a corporation while harvesting your data. This is a simple covenant—a promise from us to you about how we treat your information.
Our Philosophy
We believe in decentralization and minimal data collection. We'd rather not know your information than have to guard it. The less we collect, the less there is to protect, lose, or be compelled to hand over.
What We Collect
We collect only what's necessary for you to participate in our fellowship:
- Your email address (so we can communicate with you)
- Your chosen name (so we know what to call you)
- Your membership status (so we know you're part of our community)
That's it for basic membership. We don't track your browsing. We don't build profiles. We don't analyze your behavior for marketing purposes.
App & Tool Data
If you choose to use our fellowship tools (such as the NEW EARTH APP or Purpose Discovery tools), additional data considerations apply:
Health & Wellness Tracking
- If you use our apps to track health metrics, that data belongs to YOU
- We store it securely so you can access it across devices
- We do not analyze your personal health data for any purpose other than showing it back to you
- We do not share your health data with anyone—ever
- You may export or delete your data at any time
Practitioner Sessions
- If you work with a practitioner within the fellowship, session notes or records created are kept confidential
- This information is treated with the same respect as clergy-penitent communications
- Practitioners agree to strict confidentiality as part of their fellowship commitment
Astrological Data
- Birth information you provide for chart readings is used solely for that purpose
- We do not share your birth data externally
Purpose Discovery
- Responses you provide in purpose exploration tools remain private to you
- This is your journey of self-discovery—we hold the space, not the answers
Any data you entrust to our tools remains yours. We are stewards, not owners. We use it only to serve you, never to profile, monetize, or share.
What We Will Never Do
- Sell your information to anyone, ever, under any circumstances
- Share your membership status with outside parties
- Track your activity across the web
- Build advertising profiles about you
- Use your data for any purpose other than serving you as a member
Where Your Data Lives
Your information is stored securely and accessed only when needed to serve you. We use standard security practices, but more importantly, we minimize what we store in the first place.
Private Membership Association
Nature's Place operates as a Private Membership Association. By becoming a member, you enter into a private agreement with other members. Our internal affairs are conducted privately, outside the jurisdiction of public commercial regulations. This protects both you and the fellowship.
Your Rights as a Member
- You may request to see any information we hold about you
- You may request correction of any inaccurate information
- You may request deletion of your information (though this may end your membership, as we need basic contact information to include you)
- You may leave the fellowship at any time
Changes to This Covenant
If we ever need to change these terms, we'll notify members directly. We won't bury changes in fine print.
